A sense of history envelops you even before you’ve stepped through the small black door at the end of a cobbled King's Cross street. Inside lies a dimly-lit Victorian den where candles illuminate intimate alcoves. The character of former blacksmith’s is most notably retained in the original cobbled stone floor and big Victorian gas heaters. A fantastic little Modern European menu has something to hit most spots, with bestsellers being, seared scallops and pea puree for starters, and rack of lamb for mains. Daily specials live up to their name.

as ever, excellent food, nice atmosphere and good value!
Friendly service and good atmosphere make this a really good option for King's Cross. Food slightly overpriced though.
My third time at Smithy's Kings Cross this Christmas season - says it all. Relaxed laid back environment and good reasonably priced food. Perfect!
Smithy's in King's Cross continues to deliver and is a real hidden gem. Relaxed, reasonable, good food - this is my second time back and I am there agin today. You can't get a better recommendation than that!
