Brilliant value for money with the Toptable deal. A lovely dining experience all round.

The Pearl restaurant & Bar was simply fantastic! The food was amazing, beautifully presented, delicately flavoured and wonderfully balanced. The staff were friendly and attentive but without being overbearing. Obviously one has to pay for this level of dining, but certainly worth the £120 a head!

We were really impressed with the Perl Restaurant. We had a set menu for 35 pounds for 3 courses including glass of wine and found it great value for money. We were generously offered two amuse-gueule type of things in the beginning and petit-fours (whatever is French spelling of those) in the end. The food was inventive enough not to bore, but not overcomplicated to confuse. Decor is very sober and a bit too reserved for my taste. Otherwise it was very satisfying experience.

The TT lunch at Pearl was very good value but the wine is extortionaltely expensive. A £34 meal (2@ £17) ended up with a bill of £110 after adding a glass each of house champagne and a modest bottle of wine . We did not have desert or coffee and drank tap water. For those on expsnse accounts only!

Took my partner for a birthday dinner. The food was superb. With a highstandard restaurant like Pearl I would think that the service will match the quality of the food which is a real shame. The restaurant really needs to invest and get more qualified staff in their service department. Will go back for the food.
