Fittings and ambiance are imported from Morocco, creating an authentic outpost of North Africa in the heart of South Ken. You'll be surrounded by ochre walls, Berber pottery and pierced wooden screens while relaxing on chairs upholstered in Berber script. Bring a friend and start the meal with the Kemla salad terre-mer, including a very good aubergine zaalouk, then follow with one of the eight tagines or Darna's signature couscous with lamb, chicken, and merguez sausages. The wine list has a unique list of Moroccan beers, wines and cocktails to explore. Don't miss the shisha pipe. Belly dancers at the weekend.

Last Sunday two of us went to eat at Couscous Darna in South Kensington. Looking forward to a restaurant with good reviews and finally again North African cuisine we were not disappointed with the ambience of the place. The service however was lacking, not enough staff resulted in having to wait to both be seated and order beyond the acceptable. The food was okay, not spectacular and overpriced if not for the 50% off. Not bad but I will not return to Couscous Darna any time soon.

Couscous Darna - good value with the TT 50% off offer but otherwise £16 for a tagine is a little expensive even for kensington. great ambience and decor in the restaurant and pretty decent house red for £13.

Nice place, good food, good atmosphere but expensive even with the 50% offer - there are cheaper and just as good morrocon places out there. But was impresed by authentic wine list and superb tagine - good for a treat rather than just a meal out

Cous Cous Darna is a cosy little restaurant, easy to get to, pleasant service and really yum food. Wold definately go again.

The food at Cous Cous Darna was delicious. The belly dancer at 9pm was also most entertaining! Highly recommended.
