Sofra Covent Garden
About Sofra Covent Garden
One of a small group of beloved Turkish restaurants offering the freshest of
food at very reasonable prices, Sofra in Covent Garden has devoted regulars
and must seem like a gift from the food gods to passing tourists. Both the staff and the hours are friendly - you can pop in for anything from a bistro bite to a full Turkish feast from noon to midnight. The best way to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine is to order lots and lots of different things to share with the loads of friends you've brought along. We're partial to the fish dishes, incuding the drunken squid marinated in vodka, but the special mixed meze seems to be the hands-down winner.

As usual, we love our dinner at Sofra in Covent Garden. The service was lovely and the food reliably delicious. We were disappointed that they didn't have any more tagine for us, but the black cod was a very interesting substitute.
Yummy yummy yummy, excellent service!
Sofra Covent Garden always good value, quick service, fresh healthy food. Set menu meze-style option definitely my favourite.
Sofra, London. Meal was ok. exactly that, deatils that moved it down from good included grilling the hallumi on 1 side, no lemon, bought dill mayonnaise (cheap) instead of Tatar with the squid. Otherwise, ok, good service, friendly and relaxed. price also good.
Sofra is such a good restaurant, I always have exactly the same thing - the healthy meal. I think it's excellent value for money, really friendly staff and great atmosphere.
