The Backpassages of Spitalfields is a totally unique mix of social history, stand-up comedy and street theatre. Your hosts are Alan and Steve, who want to take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of a London you barely know. On their 90 min tours they use silly props, bad poems, audience participation and many surprises to bring the story of this atmospheric East End village alive. Tours take place on the first 2 Saturdays of every month (April to October) at 2.30pm. Meet at Liverpool Street station, top of the escalators, outside the Bishopsgate exit.
