About
Uncover important moments in the UK’s aviation history at Croydon Airport Visitor Centre, a museum located in the control tower at Airport House in Croydon.
Explore the original 1920s terminal building and stand inside the world’s first air traffic control tower. Volunteer-led tours bring to life the golden age of aviation, with stories of pioneering pilots, flying boats and record-breakers like pilot Amy Johnson.
Guided tours, lasting 60 minutes, take place on the first Sunday of every month and must be booked in advance. After your booking hall and building exterior tour, you can look around the museum and control tower for 30 mins.
