Indali Lounge

About Indali Lounge

Located on bustling Baker Street, the Indali Lounge is already a big hit with London’s healthy eating enthusiasts thanks to its unique approach to Indian cuisine. The owner, Dr Kartar Lalvani, wanted to provide curry connoisseurs with an alternative to traditional recipes that use heavy, calorific ingredients like ghee, butter and cream. At Indali, the Chefs use organic produce, probiotic yoghurts and spices with medicinal qualities to create delicious dishes that won’t compromise your waistline. To complement the modern menu, the interior is a sleek and sophisticated blend of dark wood, purple suede and shimmering beaded light fittings. The Indali Lounge also benefits from a separate bar area, complete with an extensive wine and cocktail list.

Went to Indali London in April. Food was good; excellent vegtarian choice; pretty impressive mocktails. Main plus was that there was not the usual post-curry bloated feeling. Will probably go again.

Nice enough food, good decor and convenient location. Felt very expensive... £85 for 2 courses for 2 people with drinks seems excessive for a mid-week curry. Probably won't be going back.

Had a birthday dinner for my mother at Indali Lounge. Service, food and ambience were very good. Food is much healthier than usual Indian food and they like to make sure you are aware of this.

Dinner on a Saturday night at Indali Lounge was generally a pleasant experience. Lovely ambience and great central location. However, the vegetarian kofta curry that I had was rather bland and made of a gravy in which the tomato was overpowering. Not really impressed with portion sizes either. Good service and pleasant staff.
