Zayna Restaurant

About Zayna Restaurant

Tucked away behind Marble Arch, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, Zayna is a smart and welcoming Indian restaurant with down-to-earth service and stellar North Indian/Pakistani cuisine. The man behind the menu – Riz Dar – was born in Punjab to a restaurateur father, and is passionate about using top-quality ingredients at Zayna, including free-range chicken and eggs and freshly ground spices to create his aromatic fare. The dining room is atmospheric - with whitewashed walls, exposed beams and intricate Indian wooden carvings - and Zayna is a stylish spot for tables for two and intimate gatherings. We recommend the Biryani shah jahani – lamb cooked with dried plums and potatoes, and the homemade lime cheesecake.

Zayna can only be described as a perfect example of great food, great location, and great value for money. We had a great evening and the food was of a very high standard, watch out for the Lamb Sweet Bread though, it's not exactly what it seems. ;) ... Service could be a little more proactive but that's the only thing we noticed the whole night. Order the Mango salad for appetizer, very tasty !!

I've visited Zayna (New Quebec St, London W1) before and the food seemed even more delicious this time. Even the dips that you get with the papads were classy. I will definitely be returning. It was my guest's first visit and he was very impressed with both the food and the service.

I went to Zayna in Marble Arch for a date venue. We chose a number of dishes to share and all were delicious. Staff were very attentive and helpful with the menu choices. Probably not the best date venue as not the most intimate setting as slightly compact layout. But overall very good. I would definitely go again and would recommend if looking to for a High end ‘curry house’.
