Above average curry and after eights with the bill!
The Maharani Camden Town is one of the best indian restaurants in London
The food at Maharani was nice but not spicey enough for us, although the TT 50% offer made it more attractive and allowed us to try different dishes. Service was good but there wasn't much atmosphere - there was a large party upstairs so we were seated in the basement/lower ground which was a bit dreary. Still, it seems a good local eatery.
We did not get the 50% of food, only the mains. Not the sides neither the starters.
Food was good but not spectacular. Service was good too, however they charged 15% service charge on the bill which was a bit much for a high street restaurant with normal standard.
