Nice place, good food but some little niggles - our coats were not taken, draping it over the back of the chair is not practicable with winter approaching! The table size is too small - once side plates, wine and water glasses are allowed for does not leave a lot of space for the food plates. Service was helpful but does require a Maitre d....

Spectrum at the Park Plaza County Hall in London was the venue for 4 of us to have dinner. The staff were lovely, very attentive, friendly and gave good timely service. The venue itself is interesting and fairly stylish for a Park plaza style hotel restaurant. The food was variable - lots of promise..but the delivery didn't quite live up to it. The starters were all good and of a good standard. The mains less so - good copies of how to present stylish food but the cooking was only OK.

Spectrum, Waterloo - had a tasty meal and the staff were pleasant. Nice atmosphere if not a little quiet.

We had a delicious meal at the Spectrum restaurant in the Park Plaza County Hall hotel. All dishes were of a very high standard & portion sizes were more than adequate. The service was efficient and incredibly attentive and helpful. When we enquired about a type of vegetable that had been served, the chef came out to give us the label from the veg packaging to take with us next time we went to the supermarket! Highly recommended.

The Spectrum restaurant in the Park Plaza Hotel at Waterloo has some good features about it, such as the watiting staff and the food itself, but I think it is overpriced for what you get and the place is very much a restaurantt in a hotel rather than a destination in itself. I hated the swirly carpet, which had clearly been bought in bulk and was typical of 'hide the stains' type of hotel carpet. House wine was £17 and not worth it. Spectrum has to do better to justify these prices.
