We love the Mediterranean bruschettina and the spaghetti vongole with clams and pesto. The highlight of the menu is their wood-fired pizza sold by the metre – perfect for sharing. Different topping combinations sit side by side on the same tasty base, so you can have the spicy Diavola while the kids tuck into the classic margherita.

The food at Regina Margherita is always excellent: delicious antipasti and pizza by the metre. The only drawback is that service can be a little slow, but if you're in a big group and making an evening of it, this doesn't matter too much. Just relax and take your time, Italian style!

I booked a table for a large group at Regina Margherita in Islington for my birthday. As a warning, they prefer pre-orders from a set menu for groups and this wasn't fully explained - would be easier to book directly with them for this as contact via toptable wasn't the best. The food was good but very slow due to the size of the party. I would go again with a smaller group or having pre-ordered.
Average. The pizza was burnt around the edge giving a bitter flavour.
A very nice pizza, highly recommend!
