Sushinho

About Sushinho

A sexy Japanese Brazilian restaurant on London’s Kings Road, Sushinho is an atmospheric place to enjoy delicious food, fabulous cocktails and brilliant people watching. Sushinho (pronounced su-sheen-yo) is a combination of the word sushi and inho, a uniquely Brazilian/Portuguese suffix meaning diminutive, younger or smaller. Brazil, is home to the largest population of ethnic Japanese living outside Japan, giving rise to the creation of Japanese dishes imbued with exotic Brazilian influences and ingredients. Warm and inviting inside, the dining room is awash with delicious caramel and honey tones. Bare brick walls, vanilla banquettes, potted palms, low lighting and wooden floors add to the loungey, sophisticated atmosphere and this is a chic place for dinner parties and romantic meals for two. Celebrating this culinary fusion beloved of discerning Brazilians and foreigners alike, Sushinho's menu and interiors inject flavour, zest, warmth and spirit into central London's food and drink scene.

Sushinho London. I went for lunch here on a Friday and it was very quiet at 1.30 (in fact we may have been the only people there) but this did mean the service was fantastic. The food was amazing too, if a little pricey for the sashimi.

Sushinho, service is good, there was a mix up with our reservation and they were very helpful and accomodating. food, average, far far to overpriced, go to zuma instead.

Sushinho has a pleasant environment and the atmosphere is light and contemporary. The food is a good choice of japanese though with a selection of Brazilian dishes which brings an interesting mix that can be seen also in the light mood, as well as in music and the customers who frequent the place.
