  • A Little Lunch Music: Mansoon Bow

    Mansoon Bow was born in Japan of Korean origin. She began studying the violin at the age of three and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she worked first with Richard Deakin and then with Mayumi Fujikawa. Upon graduation in 2007, she continued to pursue her studies with Mayumi Fujikawa in a Master's Degree Course at Trinity College of Music, where she is a recipient of Full Scholarship, namely the Derek Butler Scholarship, the Bratton Scholarship, Leverhulme Scholarship and the Cavatina Music Prize. Mansoon has been awarded prestigious prizes in the Osaka International competition 2000, Classic competition, Soloist competition and David Martin/Florence concerto Prize at the Royal Academy of Music where she was also a recipient of the Poulett Scholarship and the Bloch Award.
