After nearly a decade, the Shack is back! Situated just a stones throw from its original Knightsbridge location, the Chicago Rib Shack has brought a heart-warming slice of America to one of the most prestigious areas of London. Set to a lively soundtrack of soul, rock and blues, diners can start in the bar with a round of American beers, cocktails or bourbons before settling down to a meal of delicious barbequed and smoked meats. Signature dishes include the full rack of baby back ribs, onion loaf, manslaw, potato skins and the classic Rib Shack burger. All of their meat is sourced from English free-range farms and the smoked meats are dry-rubbed with a 25-year old spice blend – delicious!

We have been to the Rib Shack lots of times and it is one of the kids favourite restaurants but last night we had a very disappointing meal. The ribs were not nice, very fatty and very tough. We sent them back and when the bill came they had removed them all from the bill without us even asking. The rest of the food was good, onion loaf yum! Just a shame when you go to a rib place you expect great ribs. Maybe our expectations were high from pervious visits.
Excellent food, great service, pulled pork is amazing
A great place to go for a drink or for dinner. We had a great experience after the initial shock of turning up on a Monday to be told that we couldn't get the 50% deal unless we booked through the website! Anyway, the waiter agreed it would be okay and then tied bibs around our necks! Potato skins and chicken wings to start - fantastic! The two of us shared the combination platter and a rack of ribs which was all excellent, along with some fries. Excellent!
Went there for my birthday, just what I expected. Great food (amazing ribs and coleslaw), good atmosphere and friendly staff. Took my boys, ideal for teenagers!
Chicago Rib Shack, Knightsbridge. Very noisy. Food OK but steaks very expensive compared to my recollection of a Rib Shack menu although, granted, my last visit was some time back.
