Toptable says about Scott's Restaurant

Famous for being the birthplace of Ian Fleming's favourite shaken-not-stirred dry martinis, Scott's of Mayfair has been an iconic dining destination in its own right since it opened its doors in 1851. Located on Mount Street, this historic seafood restaurant and oyster bar attracts a glossy crowd of writers, business barons, chic socialites and transatlantic movie stars who adore the buzzy, laid-back vibe. The sleek dining room - designed by Martin Brudnizki - oozes jazz-age opulence. From the Hirst and Emin artworks to the onyx and stingray skin bar, Scott's is the epitome of aesthetic and gastronomic excellence. Star dishes include the mixed oysters with wild boar sausages, fillet of cod with chorizo and padron peppers, and the seafood platter for two.

Scott's was good, but not great. Just had the same duck dish at the Ivy earlier this week, and the meat was much better at the Ivy. Took 10-15 mins for waiter to come over to take the order. Sitting outside was lovely on a sunny day, though.
