About Amaya

Sophisticated grills using time honoured Indian grilling methods are seasoned with subtle marinades. These sit alongside exotic salads, and specialty biryanis. The restaurant is a luminous contemporary space which integrates India through pink sandstone panels, rosewood panelling and furniture.

Toptable says about Amaya

Amaya restaurant, the India Grill and Bar, is tucked away in one of London's smartest addresses on the border of Knightsbridge and Belgravia. This award-winning restaurant is something new from the team behind super-successful Chutney Mary. Rosewood, vibrant red panels, jewel-painted tiles, Agra red sandstone, and smart Italian chairs make for a seriously stylish space peopled by a very well-groomed and well-dressed crowd, where three types of Indian grilling take place in the theatrically open kitchen. Dishes are meant for sharing. Concentrate on grilled dishes like lamb chops, lobster, tandoori chicken, fish kebabs, sweet potato. If you're still peckish, follow with a curry or biryani. Tasting menu, express lunch menu, and 400-calorie lunch are each tempting in their own ways.

Amaya has a lovely ambience and great quality food. However, the tiny portion sizes make you feel ripped off

This isn't your usual Indian restaurant, Amaya. They specialize in grilling, and

the food just melts in your mouth. The seasoning is delicious. To us, the lamb was not as good as the chicken and seafood. If you want curry, Amaya is not the place to go. The wait staff is very helpful. I highly recommend you try this unusual Indian restaurant.

The atmosphere at Amaya is always good, however the food is not always wonderful,,, and the price for what you get is well over priced... you are paying for the atmosphere.

Amaya in Knightsbridge is amazing. The food was superb. I'm not a fan of Tofu, however their stir fried tofu was absulotely mouthwatering. All of the dishes were well presented and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend Amaya to anyone.
