Roast restaurant had a real buzz at breakfast time, gorgeous setting and lovely food; the eggs were incredible, deep deep yellow yolks that Iv'e not seen since holidaying on a farm in Devon, and I had the MOST gorgeous drink of mint, cucumber, elderflower cordial and apple juice - wowee! Can't wait to go back!

We had lunch at Roast at Borough Market on Sunday. Food was okay, nothing to rave about. Side order brocolini were soggy. There was a problem with the heating while we were there so it was a little chilly - this was explained to us upon arrival. We were told when we sat down that we had the table for a maximum of two hours. Three hours later we were finishing our coffees and paying the bill!! There was a long break between main course and dessert and also dessert and coffee.

Sunday lunch at Roast was gorgeous. As to be expected, their roast beef was perfectly cooked with heaps of flavour in the gravy and lovely roast spuds. Delicious starters (fluffy-light parsnip and apple soup went down a treat) and comforting desserts (apple crumble and custard was lovely). Good service and fair prices too. The only slightly odd thing was the (wholely unnecessary) live music. Otherwise, definitely recommended.

Great food and great value with TT £28 offer. Service was impeccable, as we were 15 mins delayed due to detours re north london traffic, but accomdodated the offer and had a mildly cork Burgundy 1er which was duly replaced.

Had lunch at Roast in London. Very good British food... my Roast Pork was amazing. My friend's Beef Wellington however was not as fantastic. However, would definitely go again!
