The Rotunda Bar and Restaurant with its stunning waterside views and al fresco dining area is located in the heart of Kings Cross. Food is all about good quality produce, simply and elegantly presented. The menus change seasonally and reflect Rotunda’s ethos serving excellently sourced food that warms the heart and satiates the appetite. All Lamb and Beef comes from a farm in Northumberland owned by the restaurant and is matured on site. The bar has a constantly evolving cocktail list an excellent selection of beers and an extensive wine list with plenty of good-valued glugging below £30.

Rotunda Bar ; friendly service, very handy for meeting up with friends before train journey as so close to Kings X. Food ok too -burger nice - friend bit disappointed w lamb. Bar area had good atmosphere. Good place to meet with friends- not place for special evening etc.
Fantastic! Good location 5 mins from Kings Cross station. Attentive and welcoming staff. Good sized portions, well presented and served quickly. I cannot fault them.
The tbone steak for two was quite pricey, but excellent. The mashed potatoes were also superb and the wine by the glass was quite good and not too expensive. Wait staff was very friendly. Overall, it is a bit pricey and out out of the way, but nice canal views and great food, wine and service.
The Rotunda is a nice venue (although a slightly more "mellow" choice of music would have been good), and service was friendly and efficient. However the food didn't match the expectation set by the high prices (especially since portions are small and most sides are extra) - it was perfectly OK but not better than that. I probably wouldn't rush back.
We went to the Rotunda on a Saturday night for a pre-show meal. The reception was warm and the setting overlooking the water was stunning. The pre-theatre menu was interesting as well as speedy. Overall a pleasant surprise for an on-site restaurant. Would recommend this to friends.
