Ping Pong

One of those modernist dim sum emporiums, Ping Pong has seen rapid expansion the past year or two and this new site is one of the best. Spread over two floors with the ground floor decked out for large groups and the first floor for the fine dining crowd what Ping Pong has going for it in oodles is quality dim sum that doesnt cost the earth and drinks that muster both imagination and flavour. Menu splits between nibbles, of which wasabi peanuts are just the biz to soups, bakes items of which the baked puff is subtly sweet, steamed try the scallop and shitake dim sum steamed buns, fried recommended is the jasmine chicken spring roll, along with signature dishes of which the soft shell crab comes off best. There are also further options such as salads, chefs specials, various sides and so on but do try cocktails such as the strawberry and vanilla iced tea with tapioca pearls, its just divine. Casual and cheap, Ping Pong gets it right.
