Caffé Concerto - Knightsbridge

About Caffé Concerto - Knightsbridge

This second branch of Caffé Concerto enjoys as salubrious a location as the original. A handful of bistro table and chairs in front of a glass cabinet housing a can’t-walk-past-without-having-a-good-look display of cakes give a distinctly Italian look. Inside, the elegance continues with glossy redwood tables and a self-playing piano. At around 4pm, a simple Italian lunch menu changes to an evening menu of starters, salads, baguettes, classic pasta dishes, and a somewhat quirky list of chef’s suggestions. Of course, the real highlight is Concerto’s famous viennoiserie, patisserie and gateaux. There's even a well-rounded wine list to tempt lovers of the grape.

A lovely restaurant. Starters and mains were excellent. The caramalised onions bruchetta particularly gud. The pasta dishes had lots of flovour. The tiramassu was disappointing after such gud starters and mains. Overall very good.

Caffe Concerto in Knightsbridge served good food, very reasonably priced for the location. Dear old Spaghetti Bolognese came in for special praise. We ate rather late, but were not hurried through our meal in any way.

I had lunch with a friend who I had not seen for a while and we sat in Caffe Concerto for a long time chatting, all afternoon in fact, and we were not bothered by the staff. The food was really good, I had a pasta and my friend had a risotto, just right for lunch. Afterwards we each had a pastry which were absolutely delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very nice afternoon.

Venue was adequate but fairly standard. Nice surroindings and location, but you do pay extra for being in this area. Food was nice, lovely cakes, but small portions.

What a charming find! We had a delightful pre-show dinner at Caffe Concerto. The 50% TT offer was almost embarrassingly a great deal. Nice wine, good service. Will definitely return.
