Named after its friendly owner, Stef's is a family-run Italian eatery in the heart of the London's West End. First-time diners are welcomed like old friends and the regulars are a friendly mix of young families, local office types and theatre-goers. The atmosphere is laid-back and unpretentious, allowing the first class food and wine to speak for itself. The menu is traditional and extensive, full of Italian classics like Gamberoni Diavola and Bistecca di Manzo with a brandy, cream and three peppercorn sauce. There's a pasta to please everyone and the kids will love the authentic thin-crust pizzas. Situated just off Oxford Street, Stef's is the perfect place to linger over lunch or enjoy dinner before a night out in nearby Soho.

An enjoyable evening at Stef's. Being vegetarian, were pleased with the choices of starters and mains - risotto, gnochi & pizza. Nice ambience, although being a Saturday night, a bit noisy.
4 guests. for the price (even without TT offer), considering it's central london, in my mind - as good as it gets. 1 guest asked for rare steak & got medium (however, considered to have a great flavour), but that is the only gripe.
Stef's had a nice buzzy atmosphere for a Thurs night, despite not being that full. Food was tasty and great value on the TT deal. Fantastic pizzas and calzone. Lovely prosecco too. All the waiters were friendly including Stef himself. Food is much better than many much more expensive Italians I''ve been do. Definitely recommend it.
Went to Stef's partly because of the offer (two courses and a prosecco for £15.95) and partly due to the location (easy to get to the theatre afterwards). The restaurant is decorated in a modern but relaxed and stylish manner. The offer covered the a la carte menu (good touch). the service was attentive but not overbearing. Food good especially the bresaola - some of the best I have eaten. I will defintely return to Stef's.
We had a wonderful meal at Stef's. The staff were helpful & attentive, the "2 courses & a glass of prosecco for £15" deal was fantastic value & was fully explained to us before we ordered. Being a wednesday night it was fairly quiet so there wasn't a lot of atmosphere but we wouldn't hesitate to go back.
PS: The toilet doors in the ladies' are very heavy!!!!
