About The Saison Poetry Library
The Saison Poetry Library houses the Arts Council poetry collection, the most comprehensive and accessible collection of modern poetry in Britain. The collection, dating from about 1914, consists of most poetry from the United Kingdom and Ireland, a large selection from English-speaking countries worldwide, poetry in translation, poetry by and for children, rap and concrete poetry. Audio and video facilities are available in addition to a large variety of magazines, press cuttings and ephemera.

Fire Farewell at The Saison Poetry Library

Special Edition celebrates the 35th and final issue of Fire magazine. The event will feature short readings by poets who have appeared in recent issues of Fire, such as Sean Burn, Graham Hartill, Rachel Lehrman, Ester Muchawsky-Schnapper, Suzanne Muir Scott, Catherine Simmonds and Michael Wyndham Thomas.
