  Host was established in 2005, by Jon Levy, director of foto8, and Adrian Evans, director of Panos Pictures. It exists as an arena for photojournalism from classical black and white reportage to contemporary mixed media. Host hang, project, print and show compelling photojournalism that inspires, excites, engages and informs its audience. Host uses both new and old methods to convey stories in a gallery setting. It showcases the highest standards of documentary and narrative photography produced with innovation and passion.

  Time Out First Thursdays opens up over 100 contemporary art galleries and museums across East London until late on the first Thursday of every month. Pocket-sized First Thursdays East End art maps are available at each venue and across London showing routes and points of interest between the participating galleries and museums.
