Toptable says about Strada

Located across the road from London's Comedy Theatre near Haymarket and Leicester Square, Strada is always busy with a buzzy crowd of thespians, theatre-goers and trendy Topshop-clad twenty-somethings. This popular Italian restaurant chain is famous for its authentic handmade pizzas - which are cooked in a traditional forno a legna wood-fired oven – and its extensive menu of rustic, regional pastas and puddings are made using only the finest fresh ingredients such as Parma ham, extra virgin olive oil and Buffalo mozzarella imported from Italy. Perfect for business lunches and cosy evening meals, you can't go wrong with Strada's successful formula of simple, tasty food combined with sleek design, friendly service and a vibrant, down-to-earth atmosphere. The proof, as they say, is in the pizza.

Food was tasty and all 3 courses were on our table much quicker than anticipated. The service on the otherhand we found slow. If our waiter had worked with a little more urgency in tending to us then it would have been a perfect experience. I'm sure this may have been a one off and should not be a reason not to come to Strada.

Very buzzy atmosphere with people constantly queuing to get in. The food was good - enjoyed the lobster and prawn rissotto. My friend enjoyed her sea bass. White wine was served warm which was a pity. And as it was so busy, the staff were rushed off their feet and we had to keep reminding them of various requests. But a good evening

Nice unpretentious Italian. The service was nice, though a little slow when it got busy. Would go there again.

Fantastic restaurant. When we arrived they had no record of our booking but they still managed to squeeze 10 of us in and we got a free bottle of wine and garlic bread for having to wait. Service was excellent and the food is great value for money. Fully recommended.
