Toptable says about Strada

Located at the top of Great Queen Street in central London, Strada is close to the hustle and bustle of the Covent Garden shops and famous West End theatres. This popular Italian restaurant chain is famous for its authentic handmade pizzas - which are cooked in a traditional forno a legna wood-fired oven – and its extensive menu of rustic, regional pastas and puddings are made using only the finest fresh ingredients such as Parma ham, extra virgin olive oil and Buffalo mozzarella imported from Italy. Perfect for business lunches and cosy evening meals, you can't go wrong with Strada's successful formula of simple, tasty food combined with sleek design, friendly service and a buzzy, down-to-earth atmosphere. The proof, as they say, is in the pizza.

I have eaten at many Stradas but I actually think the seafood risotto I ate at the Queen St branch was the best dish I have ever eaten at Strada. I also thought the restaurant was a great spot particularly for a family get together/romantic meal if you wanted a Strada that was not too noisy. However 2 things need to be sorted : the toilets which smelt very bad and the kitchen floor which had washing strewn all over it!

strada was a very pleasant place for a pre theatre meal. Great service. Very nice food. Only complaint is my seafood pasta whilst very tasty was rather insubstantial with barely any seafood! Reasonable amount of mussels but only two prawns one clam and nothing else. Not very much pasta either. Like said very tasty but left hungry.

Strada great queen street is a very busy restaurant, resulting in a slower than preffered service. Food was fine, but not as many choices as we had hoped.
