Bistro 1

About Bistro 1

Located on the bustling Beak Street in Soho, this restaurant is always filled with a pre-party, post-sightseeing crowd. For hearty Mediterranean meals and a no-nonsense, unpretentious vibe, Bistro1 is a buzzy venue for informal lunches, office parties and lively nights out with groups of friends. The dining room is colourful and the restaurant's service is super-friendly, but Bistro1's menu itself is the main attraction, crammed with old-fashioned favourites such as fish and chips, bangers and mash and chargrilled sardines. We love the pan-fried tuna steak with sautéed cherry tomatoes, garlic sauce and rice; the Mediterranean-style meat Moussaka with rice and salad; and the sticky and delicious homemade banoffee pie.

Another spot on meal deal. Reasonably priced, service good considering the how busy it was and lamb was a treat.

Great value, big selection, however felt slightly rushed.

Another easy, non-prentenious, causal eat out, with the lamb and salmon dishes hitting the culinary spots. Set meal prices make this a steal in this part of town, from a value and service perspective.

Whilst Bistro 1 won't ever win any Michelin stars, the food was good and the service excellent. Above all it is great value for money. The toilets are not the greatest on the planet, (either in size or quality!!).
