After our recent refurbishment, we are now able to offer comfortable surroundings for eating and drinking in three areas over two floors, and seating outside on the quiet, pedestrianised Museum Street. Our first floor lounge room offers extra seating that is lacking in many of the other pubs in the area and is available to book in the evenings for private functions. The Plough shows all the major sporting events on Sky and ESPN throughout the week.

Join us for a classic British dish such as hand battered cod, chips and mushy or garden peas, a juicy rump steak burger and chips or a roast of the day seven days a week. Our pub food is freshly prepared and includes all your favourites. We also offer a range of sandwiches and jacket potatoes, all served by our welcoming and friendly team.
