About Tudor Barn Eltham
Steeped in history, the Tudor Barn Eltham, a restaurant, café and local landmark, provides an atmospheric setting for fabulous dinners and special events. Built in the 16th century by the family of Sir Thomas More, the grade two listed Tudor Barn is the only one of its kind in the whole of London, retaining a wealth of glorious original features. Serving simple café style fare during the day, the Tudor Barn becomes a romantic brasserie in the evenings, while on Sunday, it’s a favourite spot for traditional lunches. Traditionally English in flavour, the Tudor Barn menu is full of favourite dishes from fish and chips to salads and steaks.

Visited Tudor Barn restaurant in Eltham, SE London on 21/3/12 and was more than satisfied with the service. The staff were efficient and friendly without being too intrusive. Our mackeral and beetroot starter was excellent as was the sirloin steak, although the desert was a little dissapointing. Will definitely be going again - the menu changes after 23/3/12 so looking foward to 'what's new'.
We had a wonderful evening at The Tudor Barn Eltham, I called to make reservation explaining I would like to use my Tastecard they kindly pointed out they had a better offer on their website buying a voucher which we did. Good atmosphere, wonderful food would definiately go back again and recommend to friends.
So impressed with the share platter it was fresh, different and really enjoyable. The house wine was OK not sure i would go rushing back for more but the food is definately worth visiting for.
