Created in the late 19th century from farmland and meadows, Dulwich Park is a beautiful open space packed with historic features. The park also has excellent sports facilities, a boating lake and a children's playground with equipment suitable for kids aged 2 - 14. You can even hire bikes to explore the area. Look out for the American Garden with its colourful rhododendrons and azaleas, and a striking sculpture by Dame Barbara Hepworth.
