We went to Angel and Crown for quick meal before the theatre. We did state that we were in a rush and asked for all dishes to be brought when ready, but that didn't happen and we needed to speed eat then run! We went for the TT offer which was much better value than just ordering a la carte. The food was great but service was patchy.

The Angel and Crown in Covent Garden was good. It was very quiet due to being early in the week, service was absolutely spot on, food was good too. It was good value for money on the 2 courses offer.

Initially very cold service but improved as evening continued. Had to ask for both £11and£16 set menus first being given a la carte only. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients.
