About The George

The George is a traditional English pub located in a superb area of North London, close to Hampstead Heath and Hampstead High Street. The George has been a pub site since 1600's when Haverstock Hill was the main route in and out of London and it has seen many changes over the years. The site was nicknamed the Scotch House at one point due to the tartan that hung on the walls.

Taylor Walker pubs have been serving the best British pub food and drink for over two centuries. With menu classics such as our Chip Shop Platter, succulent burgers and traditional British recipe Bangers & Mash, our pub food is freshly prepared and includes all your British favourites.
