The food / decor was good, however that's where the good points end. Service was unfriendly and at times rude. We booked for 11am, arriving at 10.50am and already we were being pressured to order, telling us last orders at 11.15, despite breakfast finishing at 11.30 per website. Other members of our group were only just arriving, also being pressured to order, not just food, juices too! After we got our food, we were constantly rushed and basically shoved out the door, left standing in the cold!

The Garrison Public House in London was a lively loud restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, the service was very good and so was the food. Steak Tartare for starters, very tasty. I had the Pork Roast for main, uge slice of meat, delicious red wine Jus and veg. The only negative was that you only got 2 selections of veg (Carrots and 2 Roast potatoes) personaly I think 3 is a minimum for a roast, but I am greedy. Would definitely recommend. Good value, very nice wine. I recommend the Tempranillo.

Garrison getting too big for their boots: I love this place, the ambience is so buzzing, fun; friendly staff. Food is always interested solid gastropub food. but when 3 of 8 mains on the menu are sold out, and a restaurant is packed with the punters daily, I see no excuse whatsoever for the kitchen not to be ordering in daily. Kedgeree and cod were good; shame the lamb shanks and honey glazed salmon and the pan friend mackerell all not available.

Hi there, The Garrison had a lovely atmosphere and the staffs were extremely friendly. I was a bit disappointed with my main as it was pretty much just a chicken snitzel and it was burned at that, however other people in my company really enjoyed their meal.

Food excellent and the staff efficient and helpful.....the only gripe was bread for sandwich - brown all the way - think it would be a good idea to give a choice of breads.
