The Loop bar in London is perfect for a night out with the girls (or boys) we were there for a hen do and so where a few others - you get 3 venues for 1 with a bar restaurant and club all under one roof. Saturday night was very busy dont go there for a romantic meal for 2 but do go there for a good time! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
Restaurant is at the back downstairs through two bars. Dont expect anything intimate as there was a roudy hen party on the table near us as this place tends to do bargain meals for group parties too. If your going for a pre theatre deal dont expect anything off the normal menue. The selections were bog standard fish and chips, bangers & mash, etc. While it was cheap enough I wouldn't really say it was good value. Wine is also expensive unless your there for happy hour between 4 & 7!!!!
Bar which you had to go through smelt of stale beer. The restaurant looked very nice but was cold. Service a little slow but very friendly. Good point the happy hour drinks also apply in the restaurant. Food was tasty but a bit fast food style. But can't complain quite good value for money as a pre theatre menu. Could have ha a bit more choic though. Normal menu seemed to have good variety and dishes look and smelt great - has a noise at other tables. Music from the bar at an Ok level.
Nice venue in a bar/club/restaurant set up, probably not suited for a quiet meal out as busy bar and club setting with load music. Good value for money on set menu 2 courses for £10.95 (plus service charge). Set menu is quite limited though to three starters and three mains only. Service good and attentative.
The Loop, Oxford Circus. This is a handy location before the theatre. The pre theatre menu was very limited but very good value for money and pretty tasty. Service was good, but as it the resturant was in a little room off the main club/bar it did not have a great ambience.
