Terra is a popular Mediterranean restaurant found in Cleveland Street between London's Goodge Street and Oxford Circus tube stations in the West End. Busy with local office workers, shoppers and Fitzrovia locals, Terra is conveniently located for for business meetings and after-work meals. Split over two levels, the restaurant has a rustic interior with coffee coloured walls and country-style tables and chairs. Popular dishes include the tiger prawns served with garlic bread and a light, spicy tomato sauce; grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, leeks and asparagus with dill sauce and cherry tomatoes; and the fillet steak served with green peppercorn sauce and chips. Terra boasts a short but excellent list of Sicilian, French and Chilean wines.

Terra in Cleveland Street is a Mediterranean restaurant nestled in the shadow of the Post Office Tower. We went for lunch - they do a £7.95 two-course lunch deal that is fantastic. All the food was nicely presented and tasty - I had butternut squash soup followed by gnocchi. Both dishes were very good. The service is particularly excellent - very attentive.
Our meal at Terra was good, plenty, and the service was very attentive. The duck breast could have been served warmer and among the potato options there was no mashed potato. We received a pitcher of tap-water without asking for it; this we found very good. Ambience was fine. It is a small rustic type restaurant. On the evening we went there was a rather loud party of 8 or 10 at another table which at times made conversation difficult. Good value for money. We'll come back
We went to Terra few months ago and we had very nice time. Staff is there when you need them and the food is delicious. Even though it's a Mediterranean cuisine, we came as we heard that they had a crocodile steak as Chefs special for that week. It was SUPERB! We will come back for more.

A quiet friday lunch and standard Italian fare but perfect tagliatelle and a fruity house red.
