About Salsa Bar & Restaurant
Located on Charing Cross Road in the centre of London’s West End, the Bar Salsa bar and restaurant is the South American party heart of the capital. A great deal of effort has gone in to creating a truly Latin atmosphere here at Bar Salsa, starting with the décor which comes straight from a Rio guide book, bright colours blended with rough hewn wood for a rustic beach-bar look. The restaurant is furnished with cosy leather booths and oversized sunburst mirrors while below stairs painted wood furniture, vintage ads for Havana Club rum and Babalu cigars and exposed ducting whisk one away to the sweaty back streets of Sao Paulo. Signature cocktails from the Americas are the favourite of the bar, though bottled beers and wines from the region are also popular, while Bar Salsa’s food menu is typically relaxed and indulgent, featuring fabulous tapas sharers as well as main dishes for the hungry along the lines of burgers, fajitas and other Texacarna favourites. As central to the Bar Salsa experience as the food and drink is music and dancing so after you dine be ready to get on your feet and break out those salsa moves.
