La Figa Restaurant

About La Figa Restaurant

Want to know where Londoners go for get-away-from-it-all dining? Look no further than La Figa, an Italian restaurant where charming service and good food go hand-in-hand with relaxation. Hidden away from the busy streets of central London in newly fashionable Limehouse, La Figa is a bit of a hidden gem, the sort of place that everybody knows about but really does want to keep to themselves. Bright and cheerful, the interior is entirely modern with an upbeat, almost canteen-y feel to its simple furnishings and glorious pantone-esque colour scheme, which just can’t fail to make you smile. Glorious cocktails of every flavour, colour and aroma are accompanied by great Italian food here at La Figa, the menu as relaxed as the dining room, offering the best of traditional Italian food with a coastal, sunshine-infused flavour throughout. The La Figa kitchen uses typical ingredients in pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes to evoke sun drenched holidays and bustling piazzas, magically summoning a shaft of Italian sunshine to fall on this little corner of London.

Friendly staff. Good food. A bit too noisy although admittedly it was a Friday evening.

La Figa in London provided us with an absolutely amazing meal. Everything from the service to the food was brilliant. The only thing I would recommend is that the restaurant dims its lighting a little bit, but this is such a minor point and probably something which is a personal preference.

La Figa is a busy Italian restaurant with a buzz about the place. Very friendly staff despite the restaurant being busy and full. Large portions served, tasty Italian food, and the main meals come with a side dish of vegetables and potatoes. No cover charge or service charge added to the bill, but one would happily add a service charge on payment in view of the good service.
