Opened by leading restaurateur Claudio Pulze in 1999, Al Duca remains one of the most popular eateries in the chic St James' area. Located between Piccadilly Circus and Green Park; this authentic Italian restaurant is ideal for business lunches, pre-theatre dinners and full-on feasts for the whole family. The interior is a comfortably stylish mix of light wood, crisp white linen and wall-mounted wine racks; while the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. Al Duca's menu features classic dishes like beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan; roasted leg of rabbit with polenta; and delicious pastas like their homemade ravioli with pheasant and rosemary. For dessert, we recommend the vanilla pannacotta with a glass of something smooth from their extensive Italian wine list.

This was my first time at Al Duca. The food was fine, but it took the staff until approximately half-way through our main course (having been reminded twice) to bring us our bottle of wine (which was ordered at the same time as our food). So the whole experience felt a bit weird, we finished our mains having only consumed 1/2 of our first glass of wine! Maybe this was a one-off but I won't be rushing back to find out. Pity, as the food was quite good.
Al Duca is one of the best Italian restaurants in London. The menu is interesting and varied and the food of the highest quality. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Having asked for assistance with the extensive wine list, we were recommended a very good wine at the bottom end of the price range which was excellent, a clear sign that the priority of the house is customer satisfaction. One of my favourite restaurants. We shall continue to use it.
Al Duca was great. Excellent atmosphere for a business dinner. Busy, great food and also seemed to be very good value. Will definitely go back.
My boss asks me to book Al Duca time and time again - her feedback is always consistent - good choice on the menu, reasonable price and great for a business lunch. I am sure I will be booking again!
Al Duca was a great place for lunch - the food was nice and served within good time so we werent too late back to the office - a nice choice to go for lunch! yum!
