A stylish and comfortable restaurant located just off the main road in the lovely riverside town of Twickenham, The Cabin Grill at The Albany is a large gastropub style eatery with its focus firmly on steaks and grills. With its Victorian roots touched up to bring the building bang up to date, The Albany is a vast, imposing old building with plenty of original features worked in to the modern décor and a whole host of comfortable spots to choose from – chill out in the cosy bar, dine in style in the elegant, contemporary dining room or make the most of summer sunshine out on the terrace. Food is served throughout the day, providing something for every occasion and every taste but very much focused on the carnivorous. So your tastebuds will be thoroughly teased by delicious ribs, slow roasted cuts of chicken or delectable steaks, the main event joined by American influenced sides and starters. Indulgent desserts complete the menu.

The lunch at the Albany Dining Room in Twickenham was a relaxed affair with generous portions of good food. We had the steak sandwich and Ceasar salad which both were very good. The service was absolutely marvellous.
Nice restaurant. A little hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of Twickenham. The beef ribs are a must try! Wonderful staff and good service with no rush to clear you off the table on a lazy Sunday. Will definitely visit again.
The Albany near Twickenham station has a bar area and a restaurant area. Nice selection of starters, bread and olives bit dull, needs better bread. Quite a lot of fish dishes on the mains menu, but burgers and ribs as well. The cabin burger is pretty decent, the wagyu not really worth the extra. Overall not bad, but the restaurant area feels a bit more upmarket than the menu. Also had to go looking for a waiter twice, even though a quiet night. Eat in the bar.
Food and service were great. Nice to see others have discovered it too.
Very good Value, but pretty quiet given it was early evening on a week day... would reccomend it
