Aladin Brick Lane

About Aladin Brick Lane

This bustling Brick Lane Balti House has been a stalwart of east London's Bangladeshi community for over 25 years, and during this time Aladin has won praise from the BBC, Capital Radio and even HRH Prince Charles. This much-loved restaurant is painted vibrant orange, with matching seats and carpeting, and the buzzy atmosphere and proximity to Brick Lane's bars and clubs is perfect for group dining, and makes Aladin a great meeting place for nights out with friends. The menu features sub-continental Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani curries and star dishes include the Fish Tikka Masala – Bangladeshi fish in masala sauce, and the Moducash Chicken curry cooked with honey and cashews.

Excellent food and service was always done with a smile. Only slight downside was the tables were rather close together, but the food and service more than made up for that.

So good we went from 5 to 7 people! Food was solid, again, service was only so so this time, but when it was around, it was pleasant. They also moved us next door, so we weren't actually in Aladin this time.
