Lunch with a colleague. Reasonable menu, quick service @ Agenda.

There isnt realy much going on at Agenda on a Monday. The food menu is quite restricted if you want actual dinner. The service was good, which is expected seeing as there was barely anyone in there. It was also happy hour so a bottle of wine was half price.

Agenda is a great spot to meet up with 'the girls' for a drink, a snack and a chinwag. I like the stylish interior and with it being so close to Fenchurch Street, it is the perfect spot for an after work drink. The variety of food is very limited but the snacks & nibbles are just what you need with that beer or glass of wine. The burgers are massive and tasty. The toilets were not well maintained on this visit but I have seen them in better state. I will come back again and again.

As I arrived at Agenda I found the music very loud and thought that -ok this is the bar area- and asked for the restaurant. The barperson told me that the table around the side are for diners. All tables had reservation signs with names. I could not find my name. As I walked back towards the entrance I saw somebody with the reservation list and asked about my booking. It was not registered-no booking in my name! Well it did not matter, the music was too loud and I left. Not to my liking.

Well I'm afraid that Top Table have a lot of explaining to do! We arrived at Agenda on an extremely busy Friday night to be told that they had been fully booked up weeks ago. An extremely helpful member of staff was very apologetic but had no idea how the Top Table website could possibly have indicated that they had any space - she offered to look after us the following week but we left empty handed.
