Moti Mahal is the chic London outpost of the celebrated Delhi restaurant which opened in 1959. ‘Un unexpected delight’ (Harden’s guide) Moti Mahal is presenting its menu the Grand Trunk Road. Inspired by the culinary roots of rural India particularly along the famed Grand Trunk Road, Chef Anirudh Arora has brought to us time honored dishes and recipes. By accentuating new tastes and flavors from India's richly woven history, the new menu at Moti Mahal is a feast for the senses.
A perfect setting with curved glass-fronted kitchen and gleaming copper bar and an attentive service will transform your meal in a memorable experience plus is perfect before a show.

Bit of a walk from the nearest tube. The food however was excellent with full marks for presentation, the service was extremely attentive, with the waiting staff patiently explaining how the menu works. The ambience was also lively and relaxing. An excellent location for an evening meal! The toilets deserve a special mention as incredibly clean and luxurious!
Moti Mahal Covant Gardens Really good food: Butter Chiken, Paneer Tikka, Dal & Palak. Didn't like their Lal Maans that much.
Excellent food and good service / attention to detail. Food on set Tiffin menu was excellent value for money and delicious, however sides and drinks were over-priced. With the set menu, good value for money, but could have been v. expensive a la carte.
the food is way over priced the place is small but the biriyani is £21 pounds and to die for..but still way over priced
Not your average Chicken Tikka that's for sure! Food was very good but overall very expensive - two mains, two starters, two beers = +£90...ouch! Welcome to London I suspose....

With a wisdom and wealth of experience spanning the length of India’s Grand Trunk Road, during his travels Anirudh has unearthed ancient spicing techniques as well as helped to develop new ones, harnessing the mastery of spice blending to its fullest. The experience, always fun and informal, is followed by lunch where Masterclass participants will get to taste their own culinary successes, from the fiery and vibrant to the subtle and more delicate blends.
