Adam's Café

About Adam's Café

Run by Abdel and Frances Boukraa – he hailing from Djerba, Tunisia, she English born and bred – Adam’s Café is a thriving family affair which has grown over the years to become one of Shepherds Bush’s most popular restaurants. A café by day and a restaurant serving North African cuisine by night, Adam’s Café is a bustling local hub, informal and authentic, decorated in mosaics and cheerful colours. It may serve the biggest and best breakfast on Askew Road but this is no greasy spoon. Visit in the evening and find yourself greeted by the spice infused aromas of Tunisia and Morocco. The menu consists simply of couscous dishes alongside grills and tagines, each based precisely on Abdel’s experience of home cooking. You really won’t find a more authentic taste of North Africa in the capital.

As always, food at Adam's Cafe was very good - all 6 of us ordered different dishes and we enjoyed them all (although my absolute favourites are always the egg brik and the lamb/prune tajine)

Another fine meal at Adam's cafe. However, service was a bit on the slow side. Either way, so glad to have this gem on the askew road.

We went to Adam's cafe,in Askew Road .Ravenscourt in London W12. The occasion was the celebration for my friend's 40th birthday and I wanted to treat him to a couscous as he loves north african food. We were not disappointed, and he left the restaurant admitting it was the best Tunisian restaurant he had ever been to. A warm welcome, excellent food, very tasty and top presentation.Prices were very reasonable too. I would recommend it to aryone. I'll be back there not before too long!

Adam's Cafe is simply a great addition to the area. Proper cafe food during the day, although you can have a tipple if you fancy and then amazing North African in the evening. Family run, great food, can't complain!
