Andy’s Taverna restaurant in a corner of London that could be reasonably nicknamed Little Greek Cyprus is a charming, casual dining spot with all the cheer of the Greek islands. The white-fronted restaurant has classic blue awnings, while a subtler blue and white theme continues indoors to remind you of whitewashed Greek houses and the blue Aegean. This long-established restaurant is famous for its warm staff, pocket-friendly prices and generous portions. Sea bass and sea bream are flown in daily from Greece. The menu includes your favourite Greek breads and dips to start, main courses of grilled Aegean sea bass with potatoes and salad, and selections of classic Greek pastries for dessert. Tables in Andy’s white-walled courtyard are alluring in sunny weather.

Andy's Taverna in Camden, London is a relaxed, vibrant restaurant with fantastic food. We (3 of us) had the Meze for two and Sea Bass for one, which worked great. The Meze was about 6 cold dishes, 3 warm dishes, two kebab skewers, some chorizio and the signature Klefkinko (?) lamb shank that we struggled to eat it all. The Sea Bass was also excellent. A couple of bottles of good Greek red wine (honestly!) - all for £90 (for 3). Highly recommended
Wonderful meal at Andy's Taverna in Camden. We had the meze platter which was delicious and more than enough to eat as well as being great value. Definitely recommended.
A little bit tired now, understandably, as Andys has been going for years. But it's run run very professionally and the portions are generous. Needs to refresh itself but no doubt difficult to afford in this climate.Hope it will be fuller on a weekend evening as there were only a few other customers when we visited.
Andy's Taverna is a very friendly restaurant, friendly staff and fiendly to your wallet. The food is good. I recommend the mix grills and meats. The fish could be more fresh though.
Andys Taverna Camden Good quality Greek food served in typical Greek Taverna . Service excellent and server made us very welcome and was clearly upset that we were his only customers. Will not stop us returning soon.
