Tiger Tiger, Croydon: a week after our last visit, and the temperature had at least dropped a notch. Having a litttle extra time, we had starters, one of which (chicken+pancetta salad) proved unavailable; the chicken caesar was OK. Steaks were fine as before. A large party had come in after us, and with only one waitress, things had slowed down; we explained our deadline, got the bill, and were then left waiting to pay while tables across the room were cleared. Good job it was still 50% off.

Tiger Tiger, Croydon: a flying visit to take advantage of their own 50% off food+drink offer before the cinema, so just a sirloin each (OK) and a nice Malbec. Only one waitress on, but as there were just two other tables, not much problem, even with our 45 minute deadline. More troubling, however, was the temperature - a sauna that saw me remove 2 layers before stopping for the sake of decency. It had been turned down, apparently, but the system had a lag. Note to self: bring shorts next time.
