22 North Street
About 22 North Street
A London restaurant has to have something special to stand out from the crowd, and that’s exactly what Clapham Old Town’s 22 North Street has. In this moneyed part of the capital, locals are somewhat spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out with numerous good eateries vying for their attention, however with its cosy atmosphere, welcoming service and wholesomely delicious home-cooked food, we’d wager that 22 North Street finds itself with more repeat visitors than most. Attractively designed to be as unpretentious but as beautiful as possible, the dining room of 22 North Street feels expensively styled yet maintains a friendly ‘neighbourhood bistro’ vibe with exposed brick walls, earthy colour scheme and low lighting. The intriguing menu, refreshingly concise, contains plenty of information as to the origin of the dishes, a proud indication that well-sourced produce is central to the kitchen’s ethic. As well as hearty, sophisticated a la carte dinner options, 22 North Street also provides a stunning breakfast, delicious lunches and proper lazy Sunday banquets.

Great food, great service. Good value for money.
22 North Street - London Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Clapham's main road is this lovely little restaurant. The food was remarkable where you can see the chef's cooking your food, the restaurant is decorated with unusual tree trunks for table and chairs and a very romantic atmosphere. We were the only people dining which meant more than fantastic service. Little disappointed bread was charged for considering it's slightly more pricey than the norm for the location.
First time here. Quiet given it was a Tuesday but really liked the atmosphere and the food was well presented as well as tasty. Will return.
22 North Street Clapham London SW4 OHB Had a really wonderful birthday meal. Staff were attentive but unobtrusive. Food was really good and very interesting as we all chose different starters and main courses - there was no food envy! Great ambience and really cosy.
22 North Street, London was ok. When we arrived late at 8pm on a Thursday night, there was no one there, which meant there was no atmosphere. The food was fine as was the price. With other places in Clapham closer to the tube, think it will need to try harder to get regular dinners.
