I ate with a friend at the recently opened Amphora, Southgate. TheTurkish food we had (cold meze plate and Lamb Kofte) was excellent, and the service friendly and responsive. The music was rather loud for my (older) taste, but all-in-all a very good evening.

I introduced a new group of friends to amphora in southgate and once again we all had a terrific meal. Was just as good as the first time i went. Strangely it was very quiet in there so lacked atmosphere but to be hoenst we didnt care! We enjoyed the food and our banter so didnt really affect us. Would go again.

Went to Amphora resturant on the 30th April with my girlfriend. The internet reviews are what primarily mademe book it. Nice staff. The food was nice. A little expensive overall i feel at £30 a head. I would definitely say it's worth visiting once.

Went for dinner with my husband. It wasn't busy at all, so we were worried about over attentive staff... shouldn't have been as the guy who served us was great. Made good recommendations and ensured we had a pleasant evening. Ate so much food we didn't have space for pudding - will remember to eat less next time! Will definitely go back there, hopefully it'll be busier as I get the impression the staff personalities come out more when they have an audience to perform too. Nice place. Eat there.
