La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Kitchen - St Martin's Lane
About La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Kitchen - St Martin's Lane
St Martin's Lane’s La Tasca is just one of a host of fabulous Spanish tapas bar-restaurants throughout the UK offering great attention to detail in both food and surroundings. La Tasca is undoubtedly the country’s preferred purveyor of tapas, popularising the Spanish way of eating throughout the nineties and noughties with a much copied formula of authentic, fresh Iberian sharing plates and lively, unpretentious atmosphere. La Tasca’s interior is typical of the brand, combining warm, welcoming tradition and a contemporary air of light and space, the seating informal and comfortable with plenty of space for the larger group to comfortably dine together. On the menu, you’ll discover a wide ranging collection of tapas dishes cooked to wholly authentic Spanish recipes and including everything from fresh fish and seafood to regional cured meats and cheeses as well as a trademark range of paellas. Meals are accompanied by hand-picked Spanish wines and Cava as well as sangria.

La Tasca, St Martin's Lane: Quick service at lunch. Pleasant surroundings. Food full of flavour.
My boyfriend and I ate at La Tasca, St Martins Lane London pre-theatre and had a lovely meal. The branch of La Tasca was very nice and the service extremely good. La Tasca is always good value for money!
La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Kitchen - St Martin's Lane Rather disappointing. Loud and brash. The new menu has had some of my favourites removed. Two of the new items were not available. The food was rather bland and not hot enough.
Had dinner at La Tasca in Covent Garden. The food was ok, but nothing outstanding. The pork belly was probably the best dish we had. Good sized portions unlike many other tapas restaurants in the area. It definitely feels like a chain restaurant though. Fine if you want a cheap night out.
La Tasca, St Martin’s Lane, London: Pleasantly surprised by the food which tasted way better than I had anticipated. The tapas to share were not huge though, so I will have to order more on my next visit. The service was fairly efficient too, making this venue suitable for a meal during lunch hour.
