The food was some of the nicest I've had in recent weeks. Service was fantastic too - I'd definitely recommend it and will be going back for sure.
Fantastic restaurant, the service is friendly and with a genuine smile. The food is hearty and very tasty. P.s. They have a skylight terrace on the mezzanine floor, it is just brilliant.
A very good Italian restaurant close to St. Paul's cathedral. Excellent food, service and reasonable prices. The lunch menu is particularly good value for money. There are tables on two floors. Upstairs is a small atrium, very bright and usually a little quieter than downstairs for those intending to discuss business. I consider this a real gem!
Went back to Rucola near St Paul's Cathedral in London, to try the duck ravioli after enjoying the rabbit pasta. Just as good this time! Also a delightful crab & prawn soup, and one of the best Kir Royales I've had in a while.
Rucola means "rocket" in Italian so I might have been put off - I don't share the fondness of many chefs for this sticks-in-your-teeth herb. Fortunately, rocket leaves weren't prominent at this eponymous recently-opened (I think) place near London's St Paul's cathedral. What a find! I was on their side immediately when I saw both duck and rabbit pastas on the menu - YUMM. The more commonplace Italian staples such as veal chop & my fillet steak are fine too. A splendid newcomer. Carafe wines VG.
