Baan Thai is a busy and vibrant Thai restaurant on Coldharbour Lane in Brixton. The delicious food, laid-back vibe and super-friendly staff make it a favourite with locals and a pre-concert crowd headed for the Brixton Academy. The cheery dining room is decorated with brightly coloured lights, and the staff, including the chef, are Thai - adding kudos to their authentic menu. Our favourite dishes include the Gaeng Pa Gung Jungle Curry with king prawns, the Pla Neung Khing - steamed cod cooked with ginger, onions and vegetables, and the duck in tamarind sauce. Baan Thai is perfect for a quick and delicious meal with friends but gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so be sure to book in advance.

Charming little place with wonderful food i could not fault!
A good little thai restaurant. Only critiscism would be that the dish I ordred didn't mention that the prawns were battered. Not the end of the world but I was trying to be healthy!
Nice little restaurant but the food was not up to much. The mixed starters were deepfried to the point of being overcooked My Jungle Curry was hot but not very tasty, the sticky rice was rubbery and the pad thai was not up to much at all. Over proced for what we received, could be a great little place but they need to work on the food.
Hi, nice food & service but the drinks are a bit on the pricey side (about £5 for a beer). Pad-Thai is a good value, pre-gig tea at £5/£5.50.
Baan Thia is good value and serves good food - recommended!
