About Babur Empire
Opened in 1996, West Hampstead’s Babur Empire has gone from strength to strength, dodging the fate of many a London restaurant to become one of the most popular and well respected dining rooms in the area. Contemporary and comfortable, Babur Empire offers pleasant surroundings and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere no doubt helped along by the staff - friendly, attentive and dedicated to providing each and every guest with their ideal dining experience, whether for business or pleasure. From the day it opened its doors for the very first time, Babur Empire has received high praise for its food, traditional Indian and Bangladeshi dishes done well using fresh, high quality ingredients and cooked to order. Indeed, it really isn’t difficult to see why this restaurant has won numerous awards in local press. Traditional home cooking recipes are employed by Babur Empire chefs who pride themselves on sticking to authenticity, eschewing unnecessary flourishes in favour of good, honest food, providing guests with an authentic taste of India and Bangladesh.

Babur Empire was superb value for money with the TT Deal. The staff are very friendly and the food was fresh and served hot. The entire menu looked good and they do have a few specialties that the chef recommends. Definitely a very good local Curry House with charming staff and excellent food.
I enjoyed going here on tuesday night, the two waiters were excellent and it was great value for money. The place has a lot of potential. Good luck.
Babur Empire, West Hampstead was a nice family run business. The Staff was very friendly. For what we paid for the meal, which was 5 for £9.95 the food was alright, could have been better. The Chicken Masala we have tasted better elsewhere, We found the food very very bland for an Indian.
